Fun With Yo-Yos

Accessories, Bracelet, Crochet, crochet pattern, headband, tutorial  |  February 9th 2011  |  0 Comment

Click here for larger image. This issue’s free pattern was selected in response to a recent question from one of our readers about yo-yo crochet.
Celia wrote, “I recently read an article that mentions yo-yo crochet. In all my years of crocheting, I have never heard of this. Can you tell me just what is yo-yo crochet?”
Crocheted yo-yos are fun, simple little circles that can be adapted into an almost endless variety of projects from small jewelry items to afghans. They give creative flair to fashions and accessories and a host of home accents. If you’ve never tried this fun technique, our free pattern features two small projects to get you started. They are super-quick and easy to crochet and would make great gifts for all the special young ladies on your holiday gift list.
